BEE KEEPING FOR CONSERVATION

bees

The Beekeeping for Conservation Project promotes sustainable beekeeping as a tool for ecological protection and community empowerment. Using our natural forest apiary, we train learners and farmers in beekeeping techniques that protect pollinators and support local ecosystems.

What We Do

  • Maintain a demonstration apiary for training
  • Teach students about the importance of pollinators
  • Train farmers in sustainable beekeeping
  • Reduce destructive environmental practices through alternative livelihoods
  • Promote pollinator-friendly landscapes

Why It Matters

Bees are essential to food security and biodiversity. Each hive helps support pollination, restore degraded ecosystems, and improve community livelihoods.
